All dogs are to be on a secure leash or harness on drop off. Dogs are housed in spacious, clean and fully covered concrete and brick runs. These runs are either 16ft or 22 ft long by 4 ft wide & include a 4 ft sleeping area. Trampoline beds/Plastic Sleeping Baskets are provided with clean covers for larger breeds or sleeping baskets with bedding for the smaller breeds. No Dog is housed with other Dogs unless requested.
Exercise
There are 7 grassed exercise areas that are partially covered to protect your dog from the sun or rain. Dogs will be exercised 3 times a day.
If during summer your dogs enjoy a play in the water a sprinkler and a pool will be available for them to do so.
Bathing/Grooming
For dogs boarding 7 days or more will receive a free bath. For dogs boarding less than 7 days and you would like your dog bathed, this will incur a $30 fee. Please ask if you would like your dog to be clipped.
Emergency
Sometimes a pet may find the boarding situation stressful or may become ill and we may need to seek treatment, in this event we will arrange treatment by our vet who is Vineyard Vet clinic Or North Richmond Vet Hospital. At Booking you will be asked to sign an authorisation for Gameford Pet Resort to arrange emergency care for your pet if required, you will be liable for any veterinary costs incurred.
Medications
If your dog requires any medications to be administered during their stay please bring this along, clearly labelled and make sure you have enough medication for your dogs entire stay. There is no added charge for administering medications.
Feeding
Dogs in our care will be fed Taste Of the Wild, Pacific Stream dry food. We also feed a balanced Raw feeding schedule. We only feed Premium foods such as Prime100, Big Dog Barf, ziwi Peak and the like. Please let us know at the time of booking if your pet has any special dietary requirements and we will endeavor to provide an appropriate diet or please feel free to bring in their food clearly labeled with name and amount per feeding.
Vaccinations
Proof of current C5, administered at least 2 weeks prior to stay.
